Amy McCavour

Amy has been a LMT for over 10 years.  She was introduced to massage therapy at age 16 when she hairline fractured her spine in a horseback riding accident.  She began her education in Physical Therapy, but changed career paths 2 years into her degree.  She graduated from Florida College of Natural Health in 1999 with over 750 hours training.  She mentored under a Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, and NMT Specialist for her first few years.  After working locally in gyms, physical therapy companies, a hospital, and local spas she moved into the hotel industry.  She helped open and the Ritz-Carlton Spa in Orlando.  Mrs. McCavour began teaching ethics, draping, and sales techniques prior to moving on into a new direction for her bodywork.

Upon leaving the Ritz-Carlton, Amy began applying her craft and skills in a medical arena.  She commenced to treat patients for Dr. Robert Murrah Jr. using massage and bodywork for pre and post operations.

Mrs. McCavour currently runs her own business and is the Lead Therapist and In-House Educator at Jillian Jennifers, a Day Spa/Salon in Winter Park, Florida.  She specializes in MFR, Thai Massage, Pain Relief, Lymphatic Drainage, Poultice Applications and client education.   She is currently a member of the FSMTA and NCBTMB.  Her ability to understand the human body and relate this comprehension to her clients and students is extensively shared in her teachings.
